Spec Tool started as a small company back in 1968. We have always been located in Michigan, but we serve worldwide.

ABOUT SPEC TOOL
As we said above we started as a small company, we were born in a garage in Walker, MI. Due to the success of the business, in 1985, we had to build a larger facility located in Sparta, MI. We have grown to an operating size of approximately 100 team members! Our current facility has close to 36,000 sq. ft. to house this amazing crew.
Needless to say, we got too big for the garage.

Our Credentials
Spec Tool manufactures HSS and carbide cutting tools, holders and fixtures. We service the markets of aerospace, automotive, petroleum, medical, woodworking, along with many other industries. Since 1968 we’ve grown into the ever-expanding market of CBN, PCD, and ceramic cutting tools.
